A Joyful Celebration at Old Blue Ribbon Farm

As a Louisville and Indianapolis wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing the most important moments of couples' lives. On September 14, 2024, I had the honor of photographing Ethan and Kelsey's stunning wedding at Old Blue Ribbon Farm in Louisville, KY. With its elegant charm and scenic beauty, the venue set the perfect backdrop for a day full of love, surprises, and celebration.

Ethan and Kelsey's wedding was one for the books—not just because of the beautiful weather, but because of the unique touches that made the day so memorable. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted by a margarita seating chart, adding a fun twist to the traditional seating arrangements. The surprises didn’t stop there—a Churchill Downs trumpeter made a special appearance, filling the air with regal notes that perfectly fit the Kentucky setting.

The couple had also prepared personal gifts for each other, which added an emotional and intimate layer to their day. These moments, along with the traditional family portraits and candid interactions, were captured in a way that reflected the joy and love that surrounded Ethan and Kelsey.

For their guests, the day was a feast for the senses. Hoggys provided delicious ice cream, while a queso bar added a fun and flavorful twist to the evening. As the sun began to set, the dance floor came alive, and it stayed packed until the very last song—a true testament to how much fun everyone had.

What made this wedding stand out wasn't just the beautiful details, but how smoothly everything flowed. From start to finish, the day was seamless, with Ethan and Kelsey able to fully immerse themselves in each moment without a hitch. A big part of this was thanks to the incredible planner, Ginna from Ginna Matson Events, who ensured everything was perfectly coordinated. All the vendors worked together effortlessly to help create the perfect day for the couple, making it a truly memorable celebration.

If you’re looking for a Louisville or Indianapolis wedding photographer who captures the traditional and candid moments, all while staying true to life, I’d love to help document your special day. Whether it’s unique surprises, family traditions, or timeless love stories, I aim to ensure that each wedding is as memorable in photos as it was in real life.
